Work attachment

=) sorry for not blogging... But not many ppl read anyway... =)

Oh ya... i just went for a work attachment! At KT digital to do labour work. good pay, $6/hour by doing all sorts of nonsense. but long hours, about 10 hrs a day. Hahaa...

My work scope includes:

• pasting photos on card boards
• slotting pics into photo albums
• set up and tear down photo booth outside schools
• sell photos

God is good. He gave me something up to my standard -- photo-taking. The pay is obviously much higher, $20-$30 per hour. =) Shorter time period, better $$, and dun look stupid by doing it. :)

The boss wanna see my skills first and he thinks that port folio is not good enough. (cos' there were cases where ppl took others pic to use as port folio or some only take the best one that happens rarely) So, i will be assigned to a trial try first. =)

Trusting God that all things will turn well, Amen. =)

Anyway, i enjoy this part of my work, very interesting and challenging for me. It really teaches me to eat humble pie. Well, u know me, i am loud, proud and arrogant. So it is abit tough to serve the customers with a smile and to apologise when they need to wait or i count wrongly. It is also difficult when i see ppl who dunno abt photog but keep talking wrong things about it. i will try to take care of my temper, i gauranteed you. But just try la... i alr make a few enemies there. But Jesus says those who despise the truth and hate you or blame you for telling them are like the PIGS -- unappreciative. So never mind, i just try not to step on their toes. =)

I also meet ppl who cant count!! 1 photos $2.50.

Case 1: Someone bought 15 -- $37.50. So he paid with $50, then my colleague returns $22.50.

Case 2: Someone bought 7 -- $17.50. Paid $50, then he returned $37.50.

Meet this kind of worker, i need to keep checking!!

felt like a mummy there, a lot of not so street smart kids. Mainly from ITE, poly or just finish N-level. For some of them, there is really the difference. Trust me, they are very smart, lazy. But i think this happens to most teenager now. No one really put in a lot of effort to small details and to understand things. Abit wasteful. Those who know me well knows i am not e type that simple do as told. =) Good and bad.

We shall wait and see how things work out can? =) I am learning inter-personal skills here!! Haha... Has been quite anti-social. :) Will improve on it. =)
